
Rachel Hulan has been involved in sustainable interior design projects ranging from the Sundance Film Festival and the Teen Choice Awards, to LEED Platinum homes. As an interior designer in Southern California for the last 16 years, Rachel worked on projects as diverse as television shows, science centers, private residences and master planned communities, developing a broad base of knowledge from which to consult interior designers, architects, home owners, real estate developers and anyone else seeking expert advice.
An active participant in the local green design community, Rachel is a Certified Green Building Professional, as well as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Orange County chapter. She is deeply committed to promoting awareness of sustainable interior design, frequently speaking to schools and civic groups on the benefits and solutions available with green building practices. She has developed and taught courses in sustainable design at both CSUF and CSULB, and is currently a Professor at Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach. As a design consultant, Rachel provides expert guidance on sustainable design principles, aesthetically pleasing colors and materials, as well as emerging trends and innovations.
